You will be contacted when we are next able to offer your eligible groups vaccine or when your second vaccine is due, however please call us if you are overdue your second vaccine as we have been struggling to get responses to phone numbers for some groups. Please do not call the surgery regarding your first vaccine (only if you DO NOT want the vaccination) - we will definitely contact you. Please keep phone lines free for patients who are not well and need to book appointments.
If you require an appointment or have any queries please telephone the surgery on 01843 231661. For general queries (not for appointment or prescription requests) you can always email email@example.com. this email account is checked at least twice a day by our Reception team.
You can arrange with your current pharmacy to request medications for you. Please nominate a pharmacy for your prescription to be sent to and arrange your own medication delivery direct with the pharmacy - we are not able to do this.
Thank you for your assistance at this very difficult and challenging time.

Patient Participation Group - latest
Although we have not been able to meet as a group for a while, your PPG officers have been "attending" virtual meetings on your behalf to keep up-to-date. I am also delighted to report that we now have a secretary, Anita Donaldson who we welcome to the post. It is hoped that before too long we will be able to meet face to face, but obviously timing will be dictated by Covid guidelines and social distancing.

Inappropriate Social Media usage
It has come to our attention that some people are leaving unofficial reviews on various social media sites (e.g. facebook etc), including the use of extremely inappropriate language and personal attacks on members of staff. This is not acceptable and may result in action being taken by the surgery (and other public bodies). These sites are not anything to do with Northdown Surgery - we have no editing or control rights and no responses will be made to these comments. In order to have your review/feedback/complaint responded to in the appropriate way, please use the correct channels as above.
