Repeat Prescriptions

Please allow 2 complete working days for prescriptions to be processed - 3 days if your prescription is to be delivered to a chemist.

It is possible to order repeat prescriptions online, via the Patient Access System .  You will need to have completed a request form and brought to the surgery with relevant ID requirements.  Only your repeat medications will appear in the listing.  Please see the Patient Access tab for further details.

Any items on acute issue will need to be requested via the comments box. The same time scales will apply for prescription processing as before. Please note that if you wish to change from your current pharmacy, it will be necessary for you to complete a Northdown Surgery Pharmacy Consent Form and hand it in to the surgery.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication may be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
