Total amount raised for the Wear it Pink breast cancer charity was £255.78. Thank you for your genorisity and donations. We still have a couple of unclaimed prizes.
Chasing up your Hospital Appointments
Patients needing to chase up their own hospital appointments/follow-ups, should call the
Patient Service Centre on 01227 868686, option 6. They will be able to tell about your appointment.
If you have had an appointment cancelled or think you may have been lost to follow-up then you will need to call the consultant’s secretary or just ask for the relevant department, via the hospital operator.
Problems with Patient Access accounts
If you are experiencing problems with using this software, please use the "contact support" button at the bottom right hand side of the patient access page (www.patientaccess.com) as Patient Access will now only liaise direct with patients and not via the surgery anymore.

We are currently holding a Wear it Pink raffle at the surgery. Tickets can be purchased from Reception - draw will be on 18th October 2019.

The Health Help Now app helps people find the right NHS service when they are ill or injured. Go to www.healthhelpnow-nhs.net to download the app (free download for smartphones) so people will never be stuck about where to go when they need health help. It shows which services are open and where they are. It can help people find out if they need to see a doctor, pharmacist or use a minor injuries service.

Inappropriate Social Media usage
It has come to our attention that some people are leaving unofficial reviews on various social media sites (e.g. facebook etc), including the use of extremely inappropriate language and personal attacks on members of staff. This is not acceptable and may result in action being taken by the surgery (and other public bodies). These sites are not anything to do with Northdown Surgery - we have no editing or control rights and no responses will be made to these comments. In order to have your review/feedback/complaint responded to in the appropriate way, please use the correct channels as above.
